Story
This winter I am raising awareness around pregnancy and infant loss by growing a beard for a great cause – Bears Of Hope Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support.
After losing Chelsea in April last year, Bears Of Hope were a great support for me. Without the help I got from them I don't know where I would be in my grief journey. The tools and support they gave, as well as the connections with other bereaved dads was invaluable.
My initial target of $1000 has been reached. So at the end of August it all goes!
Now a new target and a new challenge.
If I reach $2500 I will colour my beard for the last week of August. And the highest donor will choose the colour!
For those that don't know, it's been more than a decade since I was last clean shaven! (because it "shaves" 20 years off me 😂) But this is a cause that means so much to me that I'm willing to do it.

For over 10 years, Bears Of Hope have supported many families across Australia during their time of need. Bears of Hope’s mission is to provide ongoing comfort, support and counselling to parents and families who have experienced the loss of a baby during pregnancy, birth or infancy.
Every dollar raised will help support bereaved Dads and their families.
